2011-Reflection. 2012-This is not the end…it’s only the beginning.

2011, What a year you have been! It’s been a roller coaster ride. Shed my tears, laughed so hard at times that I thought I could pee on myself (LOL), and learned things from the world and the people in it that amazed me or angered me.

The only thing I could do now from 2011 is reflect and not to try to regret anything,but learn from the experiences that I’ve gone through.We always say I wish this or that happen. Wishing is the first step of making something happening, but DOING is the outcome result.

So, here’s to 2012!! Many think the world will end this year. I see it as a new beginning. Everyday that you are alive you do not know if it is your last day on this earth. Time…Calendars… are here created to let us know that our journey of life is not one big mind fuck of why we grow,develop, and age. It reminds us of events, memories, and what is to come in the near future. Time & Dates work for and against us. Don’t let it consume you!

Mother Nature & the Universe does not run on Earth’s time (Human’s time for that matter ha). Live your life, but don’t let a clock or a calendar date determine your fate!

THIS IS NOT THE END…IT’S ONLY THE BEGINNING!!!

Here’s to living life.;p

*~ An Angel in the Shadow~*

My feet are bare,
digging my toes in the soiled earth’s ground.

My skin exposed to the breeze of the night sky,
It brings goosebumps to my legs and arms.

My eyes are trying to adjust to the crystal clear moon,
wide awaken from darkness and gloom.

Back exposed but feels the warmth of my feathers bringing me shelter to the chill that is in the air.

I spread my wings and flap my feathers to catch the air so they can breathe,
Tuck them in my shoulder blades so they do not let me fly away.

I point my fingers to the stars and see if I could draw a line to connect them to the heavens & the universe.

I begin to question,How did I fall from the sky?

The only reason I could think of is because of you.

~*Portrait*~

America the beautiful,
how we live from sea to sea.

We all come with a story,
A story that connects us all to be free.

As centuries and decades go by,
Generation X will lose its history in matter of time.

The world so diverse to live out a dream,
Seeing a family’s picture gleam.

Staring into a stranger eyes,
going into the retina where the blood draws the line.

Learn the line that flows to your heart,
that is America from the start.

~~~~~~* Part 2*~~~~~~~~
A young one deprived of their home.
An ignorance will grow in their mind.
A sense of the beginning…’til the end.
A belonging to the person left so far behind.
Past down to the bone,
Will a child ever learn their own home?
The seed is planted into the earth,
Can the crystal water survive its birth?
blooming into the beginnings,
see the drops grow and grow.
Happy 70th Birthday to you, John Lennon. Imagine that. =)
Generation “Connection” …Apocalypse coming. Have a nice life!;p
Facebook was down for couple hours. Some people all over the inertnet world ran around like a chicken with their heads cut off today. As if Doom’s Day was here and everyone was trying to see if they could get to the other side. LOL As the inernet is growing faster day by day ,I tend to wonder what will happen if it all stops and can we as humans survive if it does happen? Social media and networks have boomed since popular wesbites like Myspace, Facebook and Youtube have became a instant connection to reach friends,family, and access videos with just a few clicks. Google has been the one stop website to find answers to your problems or searching for people, places, and etc. by just typing few general words. As a generation “Now” era ,we are dependent on technology now more than ever. We have adapted and instilled words like ” FAST”,”SPEED”,”NOW” , “and “ACCESSIBLE” to our usage on and off the internet. The internet has become a self indulgence to many and creates a disconnection with the outside world. Yes, we connect with one another,but are so disconnected with real life time. A piece of technology were we can escape to see & listen to what one wants to with out any outside judgment. So, say the satellites that keeps us all connected as ONE came crashing down or explode into a million pieces…..Do YOU think YOU can survive without it? Of course, now days Engineers can have one rebuild and up in a months time but for the “NOW” moment what would happen to the human race? How would real life time effect people social skills,reconnecting with:writing people by paper,paying bills in person or talking to someone on the phone. It sounds idiotic but many people have been so disconnected with for quite some time. I consider texting apart of the internet technology because you are not actually conversing with the other person. You are sending a message that context could be taken many different ways of what your actually saying and no humanly connection is invovled except typing and sending it. One can argue on papered letters or telegraphs. Humans have senses that we use to experience memories that will be used our whole life. Of course, they are see, touch,smell,hear and taste. In connecting with one another all five can be used to sensationlize our experince with another human being.The inernet only allows us to use 2 out of the 5 senses of : see and hear. Limitation or usages on these senses can get misjudgements or disconnections with one another if it is not interepted right. Go out in the world and experiences these senses. Don’t always trap yourself in a box. Now more than ever indiviuals wants the world to know that I,(* Insert Your Name Here*) exist. If by making a mark of one’s name on the internet it shows I’m here NOW listen & look at my life… the world now knows my existence by me logging on…. But I hope our internet generation realizes that their is life without the internet and even after. YOU EXIST with out a piece of wifi or a row of keys.;p It’s not the end of the world, have a nice life!=) Blog written by : Lyssa Love
